CKBC is...Athlete Success

National Team Trials #2 (June 18-19; Dartmouth, Nova Scotia)

Ridge Canoe and Kayak Club member Wesley Hammer (right) was named to represent CANADA at the upcoming Junior World Championships in Szaged, Hungary at the beginning of August 2005.

Fellow team members Dion Maxwell and Gillian Fedecho were both been named to represent Canada at the upcoming Pan American Championships in Lac Beauport, Quebec on the weekend of July 9th and 10th.

Kristin Bauder and Maggie Henderson attended their first National Team Trials this past weekend and put in very respectable performances. Competing for the first time lined up against the best in the country can be a bit of an intimidating experience!
